At MWC a couple of days ago, Eric Schmidt (Google’s current CEO) revealed that Chrome OS and Android will meet in more ways than one down the road, and that Google means for this to happen. When asked, Schmidt often states that Chrome OS is designed for keyboard input devices, and Android for touch. He went on to say this;

We’re working overtime to get those technologies merged in the right way…I learned a long time ago, don’t force technology to merge when it’s not ready, wait for the technology to mature to the point when it can be merged.

So it’s a matter of time really on when we’ll see these meet, no longer a question of if, but rather when.
